Wall sconces serve many purposes they are the perfect lighting solution to dark corners, accent architectural features and artwork,
add task lighting or serve as décor all on their own. Here, we give you a guide to the most frequent placements for wall sconces.

ALONG A WALL
Wall sconces should always be softly lit. Place multiple wall sconces at least six feet apart, unless it’s for ornamental sake.
Place sconces 6-8 feet apart. To the determine the number of fixtures divide the length of the hallway by 8 and subtract 1. Each sconce should be placed 8 feet away from one another, starting from the door.

IN A BATHROOM
Side-mounted sconces, like this one, are one of the best lighting options for a bathroom with shades placed at eye-level.
In a bathroom sconces should be placed on either side of the mirror and should be 36" to 40” apart.
They should also be 36" to 48” above countertop height for best light balance. The lighting should be placed at eye level, or ~65” above floor.
For small bathroom we recommend a sconce that's
about 12” in size or less, for average size bathroom
we recommend a sconce that's about 18" in size and
for larger bathroom we recommend a sconce that's
about 19”.

IN A BEDROOM
Wall sconces are there perfect task light by the bed side they also add ambient light when dimmed. Most ideal spots for a wall sconce is between your head and the work surface (book, tablet, etc).
Have someone measure the height from the floor to just above your shoulders.
